Manufacturing Partner Policy
How a manufacturer joins Zelenberg, what we check and record, and the rules a Manufacturing Partner agrees to.
In plain words
- Zelenberg shows manufacturers only, never traders. We check your documents before your factory is shown.
- We visit your factory and publish what we find, with the date. Paying for the visit does not change the finding.
- Quote honestly, deliver what you quoted, and keep buyers' details private.
This summary helps you read the page. The numbered clauses below are the terms that apply.
Who can join
Zelenberg is for companies that make agricultural inputs or equipment in their own factory. Trading companies and agents cannot join.
Today every factory on Zelenberg is in China. We add a country only when our own team works there.
Our team onboards each manufacturer itself. There is no public sign-up. To ask about joining, write to us through the contact page.
The document check
Before your factory is shown, we check its named documents at our desk, for example the business licence and the production licence.
Each fact that passes is recorded as Confirmed, with the document named and the date. If the check fails, the factory is not shown.
The factory visit
Our own team visits your factory on an agreed date. The visit records the location, operations, facilities and capabilities, with photographs.
After the visit, your profile carries the Visited mark and the date. The mark is kept while you are on Zelenberg, and never lapses for non-payment.
You can ask for a later visit at any time. It is added to your visit history and never replaces an earlier one.
What we publish
We publish what we found, including what we could not see. Paying for a visit does not buy a result.
A published visit is not removed at your request. If you think a fact is wrong, tell us and we check it.
We do not rank factories or give them scores based on evidence. The Evidence Policy explains why.
Your profile
Your profile must describe what you make in your own factory. Do not show products you buy in and resell.
Photographs must be of your own factory and products. Do not use stock images or another company's pictures.
Tell us within 30 days if a licence, your address or your production changes.
Quoting
Answer a request for quote with a real offer: a price, an Incoterm, a lead time and payment terms you will honour.
If you cannot make the product, say so. A clear no is better than a quote you cannot meet.
Keep to the validity period stated in your quote.
Buyers' details
Use a buyer's details only to answer their request and to perform their order. Do not sell them, share them, or use them for marketing.
Do not ask a buyer we introduced to deal with you outside the platform in order to avoid our role.
Payment and bank details
Buyers pay you directly, on the terms of your contract. We never collect or hold payment for goods on your behalf.
Put your bank details in the contract and the proforma invoice only, and never change them by message. Buyers are told to stop and write to us if anyone does.
Your own fees to Zelenberg are set out in the agreement you sign with us.
Working with our team on an order
A buyer may order a production report, sampling or a loading report. Give our team safe access on the agreed date.
A refused visit is recorded as refused. It becomes part of the record the buyer receives.
Samples you give us must come from the same production as the goods you will ship.
Products and compliance
Offer only products you are licensed to make and export. Label them correctly, with the real analysis and weight.
Do not offer a product that is banned in the buyer's country. If you are not sure, ask us.
Suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove a Manufacturing Partner for false documents, for trading instead of making, or for a serious breach of this policy.
We tell you the reason in writing, and you can reply before a final decision.
The dated record of what we found is kept, even if your profile is no longer shown.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. If a change matters to you, we write to you at least 30 days before it takes effect.
